20 Division Pinanz Prague, December 0, 1943. VII e - 4000 - 57 (g) Beheim - Obergruppenführer Minister of State F F a n k. Subject: New regulation of the autonomous salary. Annexes: 3 . Jch herewith prefaces the tables for the implementation of the improvement of the civil service in the autonomous service, reworked on the basis of the amendments proposed by the RdF. In this respect, note the following: 1)The annexed tables include the remuneration for married staff; for single staff, according to the current legal status in the Protectorate, a deduction of up to l/3 of the activity fee would be made=. This discount appears to be too large as a result of the sharp increase in the activity charge provided for in the improvement of the situation. The Court therefore proposes that the deduction for single persons up to a salary of 100 K per month should be set at 15 % of the activity fee of more than 1000 K. 2)In accordance with the provisions in force concerning the protection of spouses who are both public servants or are otherwise permanently employed, part of the work fee shall be deducted. This deduction is no longer justified in the case of the = current needs of the labour input and is no more justifiable in comparison to the Reich, which had already given up this deduction a long time ago. Jch, in agreement with the Department of Labour, suggests that this deduction be lifted. Jh
