In recent times, the input of officials and employees of the Protectorate Administration has been increasing, in which the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Labour is praying for an immediate improvement in salary levels in the Protectorates' Administration. It is always pointed out that these salaries are totally inadequate and much lower than in the private sector. The individual authorities and departments, e.g. the Land Office, the Board of Youth Education, the award and catering sections of the district authorities and magistrates, the employment offices and the municipalities, claim that they could no longer get reliable employees and that the staff employed so far are extremely dissatisfied. The lack of income ratios among the workers in the labour market is likely to be one of the reasons why they do not work with the desired strength and initiative.In addition, there is a risk of bribery, which is extremely dangerous, especially in the area of economic administration and the authorities concerned with food supply.
