English Translation

XV/Vt. Prague, May 4, 1940. I explained to Mr Primator's deputy the press political reasons why it is not possible to discuss the street name problem, even in the form he has chosen, before the official directory. I have also made it clear to him that the evaluation of the content of the press policy must be reserved for Group XV and that it cannot in any way affect the implementation of the decree or the rights of self-administration or the progress of the panelling process. I am therefore surprised that this letter was sent to the Secretary of State afterwards. I would ask you to speak in person.
