Today I have discussed the relevant matter with the deputy prime minister Prof. Dr. Pfitzner on occasion of his visit to the office and made it clear to him that it is already impossible to evaluate the matter pres- sepolitically because of the differences currently existing with the Wehrmacht. The Wehrmacht would regard any publication as an affront. Prof. Pfitzner saw this and therefore considers the matter to be settled in the end of his letter to the Lord State Secretary. 58476 . C
