42 Prague, 15 July 194l St. S. i C-8/. Copies of the following note were received on 14 July: Prime Minister E l i á š, Minister of the Interior J e ž e k, Minister for Agriculture Graf B u b n e L i t i c. Note; FREEEEEEEEEEE3 The Minister of the Interior, Minister of Interior Ježek and Minister of Agriculture, Count Bubna-Litic, opened the following on behalf of Mr. Reichsprotektor: In the last few weeks, the enemy radio, in particular the Moscow station, continuously called on the Czech people to engage in sabotage actions against the Reich. He gives detailed instructions for sabotage acts in all areas. State police found that such requests of the Moskan station were followed by the Czech population in the most diverse counters of the Protectorate - but so far on a small scale - which proves the listening of the enemy radio from Czech sections of the population. In the last few days, the Czech peasantry in particular is called upon to destroy the harvest, not to deliver agricultural products, to hide them, etc. It has been found that suitable fire agents are already being produced and distributed in the Protectorate for the destruction of the harvest on the stalk. In order to avoid further sabotage plans, a "Czech crop protection aid" should be established in all agricultural areas of the Protectorate in order to ensure the proper recovery of the harvest. The men of the "harvest protection assistance" must be recruited from the rural villages and if necessary possibly. to be supplemented by units of air protection quotas now set up in the cities.
