The dry weather, which has come to light, has once again encouraged the emergence of a greater number of fires by means of a punk flight from locomotives in the vicinity of railway lines, as well as of wagons and their cargoes. From the information received about these cracks, it was found that their overwhelming majority occurred in districts of those Bions where lignite is also used for locomotive firing, so in the telegram No.l225 of 25 April d.d., we called on you to tighten up the measures in this respect, to point out the urgency of the issue of a larger subset of coal during the dry season in cases where coal is also being used. In order to achieve in the future the greatest possible reduction of these fires, in particular with regard to the near harvest time, it is not necessary to alter the monitoring of the relevant measures, but also the Lobomotiv staff of the new plant forcefully remind them of the provisions of Regulation V 2y Art 17, para.ll to 15. When dry, light and futile coal is used, which is easily released by the steam exhaust into the smoke catch; it is therefore necessary not to spend, during the dry season, old stacked coals, but to provide tenders with fresher, heavier, possibly dust-free coal. Time a greater amount of hard coal than usually happens to use.
