Copy. Betr.: Body Education Associations in the Protectorate. The question of German body education associations has entered a new stage with the establishment of the Protectorates and does not need to be discussed in the context of this report. Organisational and factual redesigns will be carried out here according to the model and within the framework of the existing Reichsorganisationen. A The Czech body education associations. In the old ČsR the body education was operated and supported by a large number of organizations. Here are primarily the man-made party and association organizations. As a body-education association of the agricultural party, the "Reichsvereinigung der Republikanischen Jugend" (Reich Association of the Republican Youth) and as an organisation of the Elders was the so-called "Bauernreiterei". In parallel, the National Socialist Benesch Party had founded the "Association of Czechoslovak-So-Cialist Youth" and the "Freedom Guard". The Social-Democrat Party finally conducted body education in its association "Socialist Youth". Also in the so-called "Second Republic" from September l938 to March 1939, the body-education associations offered a mirror bird of party-political life. According to the then ruling two-party system, alongside the youth of the "National Union", the united party of Berans, there were the old associations of physical education directed at the Marxist ideology. In the Czechoslovak Republic, as in the time of the "Second Republic", in addition to these party organizations, the so-called military sports associations played a decisive role in physical education. Here, first and foremost, the "Association of Legionaries and the Association of National Guards of Sagittarius". -2-
