At last, however, in the absence of any conception, it was not possible to bring the received messages into the correct relationship, as to the actual situation, so that any attempt to create an effective situation picture on the basis of such messages had to fail; yes, from the respective face angle of the assigning authority for obvious reasons there were obviously crooked messages or reports. It is not necessary to point out here the danger of a false picture of the situation which has been created in this way and of false information and inevitably the following false decisions by the party and the state leadership. Finally, the damage to the people who have been used for this activity must not be overlooked. Forcibly all these news collectors, especially in the scattered German settlement areas, had to meet in space and come across the few Germans who could at most form a bridge to the Czech sector.
