Prague, 29. 1 1944 Division VI teosnar pan aaga VI - 3816 - 299/44 To the head of the ministry in the house. Subject: Vegetable supply of the city territory of Moravia-Ostrava. With reference to our telephonic meeting, I give you the following report as requested : d d Moravian Association for the Garden and Viticulture Industry, however, was anxious to keep the supply in the iGeneral above the average of Moravia and from the Protectorate. From 5.12.1943 the vegetable supply declined sharply. At that time, the association learned from the Reichsauftragsverwaltung Mähr.-Ostrau that almost no vegetables had been stored there, since the rolling goods should have been delivered to the fresh market. 2.) The "GEBIFa" in Brno was immediately ordered by the association to provide for the storage of vegetables in Moravia-Ostrava, and that was to be diverted from the stocks stored in Wratzow to Moravia-Estrau. 3.) The GEBIFa subsequently found that the seizure of vegetables at Wratzow was far less than was originally supposed. The "GEBIFA" then, in agreement with ORR.Dr. Lindemann from the state authority, intervened in the right of disposal of the association and carried out a re-allocation of the stocks stored in the wholesale trade. This was the vegetable store at Baierle in Austerlitz and at the country headquarters, Brno. 4.) The association learned of the relocation of supplies only by the notification of the storekeeper Baierle. The association then pointed out to the "GEBtFa" that it was only entitled to dispose of the vegetables stored in trade. 80 t vegetables to be loaded to Moravia-Ostrava. After a message received from me, the dispatch order was then withdrawn by the "GEBIFA" on the instructions of the regional authority (ORR.Dr. Lindemann). The instruction of ORR. Dr. Lindeman is said to be due to an intervention of the district management Brno. In this context, it should be noted that the NSV's district administration wanted to use the vegetables stored at the German Landzentrale exclusively for the additional supply of information; the Landzentrielle allegedly had to assume responsibility for the corresponding use of these products to the district management. For this reason, the Landzentrale was obliged to inform the district management of the direction of the association on the dispatch of the 8 wagons to Moravia-Ostrava. Subsequently, the district administration was supposed to have given instructions to refrain from dispatch. 6.) Ap 14.1.1944 I ordered Mr. Zschaupitz from the German Landzentrale to carry out the delivery to Moravia-Ostrava immediately. I also pointed out to him that the Minister of State would have the responsible person imprisoned if this order were not complied with. /
