Copy. W State Secretary Dr. Stuckart Berlin, 13 November 193s in the Reich Ministry of the Interior. I 727/39 2005 Subject: German soil policy in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. On the letter of 19 August 1939. Dear comrade Frank! In the war, German politics in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Mühren must be primarily based on the principle that the greatest possible benefit is derived from this area for the heavy struggle of the German people. This also applies in the field of soil policy, especially since the issues involved are closely linked to the questions of the food industry and those of the foret and wood industries. The Czech Land Office has remained as a sutonome authority until now and has been put under German management. It is, however, necessary to create a clear organisation in order to deal with settlement issues, food and forestry issues, and to ensure that the work to be done produces valuable and practical results. I therefore consider it necessary to hold a joint discussion of these questions, and I would ask you to have a personal debate on Wednesday, November 22, at 11 a.m. in the Keichsministerium des Inneren, Königsplatz 6, in my office.
