nP copy. State Secretary Dr. Stuckart Berlin, 13 November 1939. in the Reich Ministry of the Interior. I 727/39 2005 Dy. Subject: German soil policy in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. $.d. d. On the letter of 19 August 1939. /.181.40. Dear comrade Frank! German politics in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia must first and foremost be based on the principle that the greatest possible benefit is derived from this area for the heavy struggle of the German people. This also applies in the field of soil policy, especially since the issues connected with it are closely linked to the questions of the food industry and those of the forestry and timber industry. The Czech Land Office has remained as an autonomous authority and has been put under German leadership. It is, however, necessary to create a clear organisation in order to deal with the settlement questions, the questions of the food industry, the forestry and timber industries, in order that the work to be carried out will lead to valuable and practical results. I therefore consider it necessary to hold a joint discussion of the points of interest to these questions. I would ask you to make a personal debate on Wednesday, November 22, at ll o'clock in the Keichsministerium des Inneren, Königsplatz 6, in my office. I ask you not to be drawn to speakers.
