STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 260, sig. 109-4/2
English Translation
Prague, October 2, 1939. Secret! G.R. with 2 attachments about Mr. v. Burgsdorff sent to Mr. Bertsch. As I can see from the contents of the attachments, the decrees of Mr. Reichs-Arbeitsminister and the Reichsführer-SS and Chief of the German Police contradict each other. A solution seems to me to be possible in the interest of the preservation of the German blood on the river, that the Czech wives, including the children who wish to move to the old kingdom, are subjected to a racial examination. It depends on the result of this examination whether the entry permit is granted into the old empire. In order not to make the racial examination appear, it can be disguised as a medical examination. I would ask that the proposal be examined and that the result of the examination be placed in a draft report which I would like to pass on to the Reichsführer-SS and head of the German police for the purpose of easing the decree in the sense of the proposal and forward in copy to the Minister of Labour.
