2 Prague, 1 March 1945. KR-FS: To Mr. Gauleiter and Reichsstatthalter Henlein, R e ic h e nb e r g . Dear Konrad ! In completing your telex No. 1744 yesterday, I inform you that there is currently a greater amount of shoes stored in the Protectorate, which was produced within the framework of the Reichsplanung established by the Community of Shoes in Berlin. The shoes are intended for the rest of the Altreichs geez and are not yet exported only because of catastrophic lack of wagons. I stand like you on the point that in this emergency period large camps must not be left unused and must have them shortly meaningfully. Nevertheless, I do not have any power of disposal over these shoes, as otherwise I will intervene hardest in Reichsplanung 0. I ask you, at the Community of Shoes Berlin, to obtain from the Reichswirtschaftsministerium the exclusive right of disposal and to obtain that I may transfer the required number from these Reichsstanden. I would very much support this at the same time, since I myself urgently need shoes for the protectorate, nJaz Iu Modogdnsointrs sen Pratehlyand Almorgan mle Heil Hitler! Your 81/3
