In this letter, I asked that, after the sentence had been served, I be used somewhere in the newly won areas so that I could prove that I fully fulfil my duty in the service of the Volsgemeinschaft. That is why I am making this point in order to demonstrate in my bleak situation not only the good will but also the fact that I would never have been able to act in an anti-state manner. I am convinced that many SS-members who know me from the past and from my membership of the SS will confirm that I was not only known as a doctor and expert in the whole Karlsbad district, but also enjoyed a flawless reputation in every respect. I am thinking of J.U.Dr.Behr, the Aerzte Dr. Sommer and Dr. Schubert in Karlspar, the Reichstag deputy Dr. Klieber, the Landrat Dr. Plomer, Luditz, Dr. Wolf in Eger and others.
