3Q.January_1945 FermsprechersNo. oglnlstert Czernin-Palais y Tgb.No. R.Bw.K. 322/45 Eng.: 30 JAN 1945 Betr. : Execution of the business of the former chairman of the Arms Commission. To the head of the ministry, 4-stand leader of the ministerial council Dr. On 1 December 1944, the business of the Chairman r ocoord Moravia of the Reich Minister for Armaments and War Production and General Plenipotentiary for Arms Operations in the four-year plan was transferred to the Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour, i-Oberführer Dr. B e r tsch. For the past two months, the office of the Chairman of the Arms Commission has been in liquidation, and so have the Armaments Commands of Prague and 2 and Brno. Recently, General Herne- kamp informed me that the liquidation would take place until mid-February, but now it is called the beginning of March. The resolution offices of the previous chairman of the Arms Commission still bind significant workers and spaces. The workers have already been distributed by the Labour Office, but the service stations to which they are pledged wait in vain. The rooms are urgently needed for the reception of other military services. The managing member of the Chairman of the Arms Commission, Head of Government Dr. Fr e m e r y, explained to me on questions that he was not interested in the continuation of the liquidation and that the work was not decisive in his opinion. re Yt s l TvM-86 117
