In the draft of the statutes of the institution, which have not yet been adopted by the Minister for Economic Affairs, it was intended that of 12 members of the board of directors 3 the Lord Reichsprotector should be appointed. Thus, already in the original form, the possibility of influence on the administration of the institute was intended for the Lord Imperial Protector. 2.) The Moravian-Silesian mutual insurance institution in Brno was founded in 1826 by the states of the state of Moravia. Just as with the legal entities of the public = legal property insurance institution of Reichenberg, also with its mainly agricultural ventures and risks of the government are insured. This institution, too, operates fire insurance mainly. Thus, it has the same structure as the Sude= tenland public health insurance institution. The income from insurance contributions including ancillary fees was 23.000.000 kroner in 1938. At the end of 1938, the direct guarantee funds of the institution amounted to 26.491.000 kronor. In Reichenberg mainly in the Regierungsbezirke Trop= pau there was a serious danger for the existence of the Moravian= Silesian mutual insurance institution in Brno. This danger, combined with an inexplicable and expensive double organization of two institutions of the same type and other sensitive aspects, prompted the signed contract for the Moravian-Silesian mutual insurance institution after in-depth consultation with those who have an interest in an orderly management of the insurance portfolio established within the framework of this institution, according to the Landbauernführer für den Reichsgau Sudetenland, Ing.Ru= dolf Raschka, the commissioner of the Lord Reichsprotector in Brno, the district head of the NSDAP, Inga.
