25as men who were to be hired by the agent for local transport. I pointed out to NSkk Obergruppenführer Müller-Seyffert the letter of the W-Oberst group leader Daluege of March 8, 1943, according to which a further deployment of German forces, in particular of the NSK, would not be acceptable. The wish put forward by NSkk-Obergruppenführer Müller-Seyffert meant circumventing the clear decision of the Reichsprotector. .. Following this meeting NSKk-Obergruppenführer Müller-Seyffert explained in the presence of 3 NSKK leaders and government councillor Dr.Düesberg that -Oberst group leader Daluege had told him about lo days ago that the NSK K should now have the same rights and duties in the Protectorate as in the other Reichsgebiet. Thus the letter of the W-Oberst-Grupfer to him from the l8.3.l943 became meaningless. The extension of the NSK's activity in the Protectorate now only depends on my attitude. It therefore depends on how I would behave in the next time. He expressly points me to this fact. I have explained to the NSkk-Obergruppenführer that I am so far interested in the above-mentioned change of opinion of the Wl Oberst group leader 65945. 4 NSKK-OberggruppenFührer Müller-Seyfpert has emphasized on several occasions that the NSSkK has free hand and that he will now vigorously implement his earlier plans. Any resistance would be pointless. Moreover, the NskK Corps leader would come to Prague in June. Both the M-Oberst group leader and the NSKK corps leader would be informed about my person, so it would now be up to how I would behave in the near future. I replied to NSKk Obergruppen leader Müller-Seyffert in the sense that his suggestion was incomprehensible to me. I would have - as well as the authority of the Reich Protector - the greatest interest that a good agreement with the NSKK exists within the framework of the guidelines given by #Oberst group leader Daluege.
