My spouse Dr. Bruno Helbig-N upauer was arrested on 18 December 1942 in Reichenberg on the day of the Secret State Police and on 24 December 1942 he was arrested by the secret state police. In the same days, house visits took place in the law firm and apartment in Prague as well as on his property in Schnedowitz near Wegstädtl. The reason for this measure is not known to me or probably to my husband and, after my conviction, can only be based on a mistake or on a malicious denunciation of my unknown side.
