It is of the utmost importance that the intensification of the anti-German attitude described above is more and more extended to the Czech workers. The decisive reason for this is clearly the further deterioration of the nutritional situation in the protectorate, which, in particular, begins to assume catastrophic form due to the extraordinary potato deficiency with simultaneous scarcity and reduction in the quantity of bread and flour and reduction. As a direct consequence of this, there has been an increasing lack of work and, in some cases, a considerable decline in performance in many industrial and agricultural holdings of the Protectorate. Since the end of the 8th century, there have been some temporary stoppages of work in partly war-related holdings, all of which have been justified by the situation of separatism. The investigation of the individual cases showed that the actions brought by the workers must be widely regarded as justified.
