Report on the political development in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Mihren of lo.8. - lo.9.7947 The political development of the Protectorates has been characterized in recent weeks by a considerable stiffening of the Czech resistance spirit, which is mainly caused by: 1. by strengthening the general conviction that Germany must lose the war, 2. by an increasing resentment of the broad masses of the population about the further deterioration of the supply situation. The unexpected toughness of the Bolshevik iderstand against the advance of the German Wehrmacht Seheim and the other foreign political situation allowed the view that the climax of German successes exceeded and a German final defeat was inevitable, to become almost the common good of the Tschchen. a.d politically exposed circles of Czechism showed themselves still externally reserved, in order to prevent all (Crelio) possibilities of the war exit and not to challenge /7=10.47. sharp German countermeasures by premature open resistance.
