Although a comission for the publication of German textbooks was already created in 1992o at the Staatsverlag, the young German publishing house managed to penetrate the sales market in such a way that today the competition of the state publishing house for the German textbook is less felt than for the Czech and above all for the schools of the people and citizens. It could not be long before the new state decided to block the import of foreign school books, or even to eliminate the fully acquired ones. This was achieved in a few years by decrees and by means of the approval. School books that are not of domestic origin are simply not approved. In the design of the curricula, however, new educational ideals have to replace the old ones and so, in the few years, there were numerous curricula, which did not exactly simplify the tasks of the private publishing house.The approval regulations not only impose precise and limited demands on the editor, but also on the publisher, printer and bookbinder.
