Introduction of a numerus clausus for the 5th class of the Czech higher schools from the school year 1941/42, with the 4rd class the lower level of the czech higher schools completes.The transfer to the 5nd class means the ascent to the upper level. No more than 35 pupils are expected to be enrolled in the 5th grade. A parallel class of 35 students should only be educated if the 4th grade and parallel classes had at least 1 50 pupils. However, this case would only apply to 9th grade schools in the Protectorate, whose 4th class currently has more than 1 50 students. At the end of the upper secondary school year, the students could go to the technical schools without any obligation.This has always been the case in many cases. Between 4th and 5th grade there was always a caesura. IV. The 6th, 7th and 8th grades were available at the beginning of the new school year. However, in view of the future numerus clausus of 25 pupils in the above-mentioned 3 classes of the upper secondary school, the sharpest scale would have to be applied. In this way, students should be given the urgent advice to leave early in their own interest in order to gain access to work rather than to lose unnecessary time by remaining in higher education. Class at the beginning of the 1942/43 school year, for the 7th class at the start of the 1943/44 school year and for the 8th class from the 1944/45 school year. Self-employed parallel classes, except for the few exceptions mentioned under III, cease from the date indicated, after 4 years at the beginning of the school year 1945/46, there should be no parallel classes in the Czech higher education system.
