These liaison bodies are usually combined with official or semi-official bodies, so that they are also indirectly available to the South-East European community. Their own liaison bodies exist in Croatia and Turkey. The South-East European society refuses, for fundamental reasons, to enter into links with foreign bodies and persons, since it does not wish to restrict itself in its freedom of action or to define itself on certain points and persons from abroad. In the immediate context of this question, there is the challenge of the future development of the German Chamber of Commerce in the South-East, from which it is likely to be established in principle that it will depart from the present organisation. In addition to the so far described pacificity, the South-East European society has also appeared with lectures, social events, etc., which were also able to enjoy great attention in the press. Min part of the meetings took place jointly with other organisations (e.g. Raiffeisenverband Donauland, Auslandshandelsstelle Wien, Aut des Gauwirtschaftsberaters, sub-division wholesale, import and export trade, etc.).
