Excerpted copy of Prague, 22 June 1942. TAEONES SS Since the textile printing plants have a large coal consumption and the coal supply situation is already extremely tense, for this reason too a large restriction of the textile printers has become necessary, even if their perpetuation is important for export. In addition to these facts, the company M.B. Neumann's Söhne - Union in Königinhof a/Elbe adds that this company is one of the least well-working coal-producing companies and is the least advanced in technical terms compared to the plants intended for the provisional continuation. In particular, this company does not yet have all the facilities necessary for the treatment of sensitive artificial silk and cell wool tissue. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the modern textile raw materials will undergo the treatment which is possible and necessary according to the latest state of the art in the equipment. In this situation, it was impossible to exempt the textile printing plant of the above-mentioned company from decommissioning. However, in view of the fact that it is an old German company, all the bodies involved have endeavoured to make this company much easier, and it has been made possible for Pirma Neumann's Söh ne Union to resell its printed products on its own behalf, which it has paid for at another company in the town. This type of self-help will result in a small financial loss.
