However, for the city of Brno and the entire Moravian Protectorate, the maintenance of the Moravian Vers.schles.Vers.Anstalt is a popular political task of the first rank, since the institution employs about 200 officials and represents a possession whose disappearance would mean a palpable MEA weakening of the position of the Germandom of the city Brno and beyond.
