English Translation
The current form of cooperation is particularly evident in the fact that, in place of the existing highly formal legal working methods, treatment has been more adapted to the needs of practice. It should also be stressed that, above all, the recruitment of Czech workers for the rest of the empire and the steering of workers from other important sectors of the defence industry has made considerable progress. Between June and August 5, 1941, a total of 8 34o workers were made available for the rest of the Reich; the total number of workers made available from the Protectorate for the remainder of the Empire thus amounts to around 185 ooo. Since the same period ( 1 June 19941), the protectorate's defence industry has provided around 18 000 workers and the rest of the war economy from less important sectors a further 45,320 workers. The supply of agricultural workers for the recovery of the potato, hop and beet harvests of the Protectorate and the Sudetengau is currently being handled by the Central Compensation Office for Labour Use. A total of 45 ooo forces are being set up for the hop and turnip harvests. A further 5oo workers are to be created for the sugar campaign. In addition to these practical tasks, Section III now has a number of important and long-lasting organisational measures to be taken on sheet 5
