Moreover, the reduction in the number of pupils in the Czech secondary schools meant that the Czech women's vocational schools in the capital city of Prague had to increase by 25 first classes, as more than 900 Czech women registered to attend these schools. Nevertheless, these classes were only opened after the approval of the Office of the Lord Reich Protector had been obtained and the insurance had been given that it was only the first classes from which an ascent into the higher classes was not possible.
