English Translation

Fa - 2 - - Obergruppenführer Frank decided on 27 July that the President should not be granted permission to listen to foreign radio stations. He pointed out that the president of the state would make use of such permission less personally than his surroundings. For political reasons, however, he considers it unbearable that the broadcasts of foreign channels would be broadcast in the President's office. A written notice is not to be given to the President or Section Chief of Popelka. Obergruppenführer Frank has ordered Obersturmbannfänger Dr. Gies to be Section Chief v. Popelka orally open that, in view of the interception of foreign stations, new interlocutory provisions were issued by the Führer. According to this, only a very few places directly involved in foreign broadcasts had been granted permission to interrogate foreign stations. This new Führer Decree also rendered the permission given earlier by the Reichsprotektor obsolete for the President Dr. Hácha. Due to the direction of the Führers, which was also binding for the Reich Protector, the Secretary of State was unfortunately unable to give an authorisation to listen to foreign stations. 2.) With an annex 4-Obersturmbannführer Dr. I would be grateful for a brief final notice. fi 4-Standartenführer 12305
