I6 Group I 6 I 6 a - Prague, July 1942. Tofor! - Wwtoriliy. Entered Abtlg. I. Mr. State Secretary 2 5. VII. 1942 by the hand of the Lord's Division - Vo Betr.: Leasing of pharmacies. The proposed draft was not known to me so far. However, it goes almost literally back to a draft of the Ministry of Social and Health Administration from l939, which I know. The whole set of questions has been repeatedly considered and discussed by me. There can be no doubt that such a decree, which would practically introduce the Reichsgesetz of 13.12.1935 (RGBl.I, S n ts) aueh in the Protectorate, would be only desirable. At the same time, however, the Germanization of a large number of pharmacies would have to be brought about. In my opinion, which I have been representing since l9jg, the lease regulation must be issued immediately after the wars. Then there is an immediate chance for some l5o German pharmacists to take over pharmacies as tenants in the Protectorate. It would be quite wrong, in my opinion, to introduce the lease regulation now, but then because of the lack of German pharmacists instead of leasing, to allow the temporary administration of pharmacies. It is precisely the maladministration which, according to experience, always leads to a reduction in the value and a deterioration in the operation of the pharmacy that gave rise to the introduction in the Reich of the lease law and to the prospect of the rent regulation. Although the present draft is closely in line with the Reichsgesetz and the above-mentioned draft of the year l939, it would nevertheless have to be amended both in terms of content and form.
