F a n k Prag Betr.: Ursula G e r l a c h , pupil, born 3. May 193o; resident Duisburg, currently KLv camp Luhatschowitz, house Majak - complaint of the father, baker's sister Fritz Gerlach from Duisburg, about alleged bad treatment of Ursula Gerlach - . Vorg.: Enquired review. The examination of the complaint by the master baker Fritz Gerlach about the mistreatment of his daughter Ursula by a leh- rerin in the KLV camp Luhatschowitz, House Majak, revealed the following: Ursula Gerlach has been in the LLV camp of Luhaschowitz since August 3, 1943, house Majak; before that she was in the CLV camp Ober-Kosseletz. Regarding the incident with the teacher Seyhoch, Ursula Gerlach said that the named had been annoyed by the class many times, because she had been quite strict with the pupils and had never wanted to understand them. Shortly after Pfingsten in 1944, the teacher Seihoch had reprimanded a pupil in the calculation lesson, which Ursula Gerla had laughed loudly. The teacher Seyhoch was very excited about this behaviour and the Ursu- la Gerlach, according to her own statements, had slapped her face. The manager of the house Majak, the teacher Altenfeld, stated that Ursula Gerlach had been morally and maritimely severely shaken due to this punishment, especially since Ursula Gerlach is more delicate in nature and suffered from sniffing at the time. Ursula Gerlach himself admits to bear the main responsibility for this incident, especially because she knew Seyhoch was nervous. Ursula Gerlach seems to have already completely agreed with the incident; only the grade in arithmetic in the upcoming school certificate is causing her grief, since the teacher Seyhoch told her shortly after the above-mentioned incident that this grade would become /° 14 SL.M.
