The Oberlandrat S Pilsen Pilsen, 14th November 1242. Dentsche's Public Administration House - Deutsches Ufer 12 To the Radelzky-Plalz 12. 9 16.NOV 1942 Phone No. 2281-85 U. 3. 4-300 H/Kr. Mr. Inspector General of Administration In the event of an answer, please indicate the above Ss-Brigadeführer and General mator of the Kftengeichen Police Department. Reinefath in P raE Subject: Teachers at the German schools in Oberlandratsbezink Pilsen. I personally checked the quality of the teachers at German schools, especially the Grindschulen in my field of office, as far as I was able to carry it out occasionally from missions, and also discussed the question with the relevant district school inspector and partly with the competent head-office management. The entire German school vesen within my field of office suffers from a delicate shortage of teachers. The few still existing fully trained teachers are largely in order and their quality can generally not be said to be disadvantageous. However, their school use is often inhibited by numerous secondary offices. They are assisted by assistants whose good will and diligence must be acknowledged in almost every palle, but who lack the experience and, above all, the necessary training for successful work in school. The lack of vocational teachers and the substitutes, together with the fact that there are still other teachers missing everywhere, mark the state of the school system. Hereinafter, I mention some fulle where there is a need for a remedy and where I have already discussed and initiated improvements by consulting with the relevant district school inspector. The very capable teacher of the three assiduous German elementary school in Schüttenhofen, senior teacher Degelmann, is at the same time government commissioner, local group leader of the lsDAP and district head of the NSLB. Under these circumstances, he is unable to perform his teaching activities in the same way as the education of our school youth requires. The very capable young teacher Schwarz and the teacher Schiller in the age of 55 stand at his side. Both are able to keep up the entire school activity to their best, but can not be fully calculated with the teacher Schiller. He lacks the necessary tension, he is old inside and is already quite exhausted. The aim is to create a remedy for the fact that the school will be provided with another force, which will relieve Degelmann of his teaching ability when he leaves his head office at the same time. The German elementary school in Strakonitz is five-class with lo students. However, it currently has 3 female teachers, one of whom is fully trained, while the other are beginners. It has not been possible to order further teachers to Strakonitz.
