Page 2 to the report to the Lord Reich Protector of 15.12.1939. This test took place in September. The report was delivered to me in spite of heavy and urgent reminders on l. Desember. With this late submission of the examination report it is due that the prescribed monthly reports were not made by me. I have communicated this in two letters to the business community, as I have been comforted with the report since the beginning of October from week to week, and I wanted to use this report as a basis for my first, extensive report on the cooperative, and since 1 4 December this report has also been available to the Business Business Group. 2.) The Jewish comrades of the cooperative had to be eliminated. Since the beginning of Auguet this year, Dr. Becker, who is responsible for this task, has been working exclusively on this matter. Dr. Becker has promised me a final report by the end of December. On the part of the secret state police, I was suggested that the co-operative's units should be converted into units and that the Jewish co-operators should not pay back anything in order to eliminate the Jewish comrades through this simplified procedure. Since this procedure is not legally valid, I asked the secret states pölizei for an order in written form. Since this was denied to me by Mr. Reg. Rat Kolitz, it is expected that the Jewish cooperatives will have to pay a severance payment. In a letter with the same post to the group Commercial Economy I ask separately un comment on this. 3.) It also had to be sought to remove the Jewish tenants from our houses. At my car rental, l68 apartments were inhabited by Jews. There was a danger that if all Jews were immediately dismissed, part of the apartments of the cooperative would be empty and thus the cooperative a considerable amount of damage would arise. That is why I discussed this matter with: 1.) Mr. Rog.Rat Ludwig, Group Commercial Economics at Mr. Reichsprotector, 2.) Mrs. Reg. Aésessor Wesely, with Mr. Oberlandrat, 3.) Mr, Reg.Raat Kolitz with the secret state police. All three gentlemen told me that I did not have to take back on this, but that all Jews had to be announced without notice and that they could be put on an appointment for the 3rd of October. That happened. Of the lé8 quit Jewish tenants, so he from the 82 empty dwellings that I took over, 80 apartments have now been used again. There are now 88 flats empty. Of this part is already rented today (15.XII.) or on 1.1.1940. It is to be expected that the other dwellings will also be occupied within one to two months. ./. 238
