As in the past, Europe's fate is also determined in the future by the fate of the empire. Europe was a unity, the centre of human culture, as long as the empire was great and powerful. At the height of its power, the kings of England and France considered themselves to be the fiefmen of the German emperor. However, Europe was peaceless and exposed to the attack of foreign powers when the empire disintegrated. We must remember that the name as well as the historical reality that we embrace with the word Europe are a creation of the Nordic race.
