Annex to the Circular I 1 c - 568o of 6 March 1942 The Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Moravia I 1c - 5680 Prague, 6 March 1943 To the Ministry of the Interior in P r a g Subject: Payment of salaries to arrested public servants of the Protectorate Administration Reference My letter of 15.8.194l - I 1 C - 569o - to the Prime Minister Attached n By my above-mentioned letter I had determined that in cases in which a public servant is liable but is released within 6 weeks, however, it is taken from the provisional suspension Asbestand. the suspension already made can be reversed and the disciplinary proceedings, if any, initiated, can be instituted. In addition to this, I now agree that arrested staff who are released after 6 weeks, but within 3 months, can be temporarily re-registered and fully paid from the day of service. In such cases, however, the final re-registration of the service and the payment of the remuneration for the period of arrest must be requested without delay by my authority. Under this regulation, cases in which re-registration to the service has not yet been possible can also be dealt with, since there have been no replies to the requests to my authority so far. The suspension has to be maintained, but must be kept immediately with my authority for the further measures to be taken. The above rule does not apply to such staff who have been transferred to the secret state police during the state court sentence and are later released from prison. In these cases, if no instructions have been received by my authority, it is necessary to ask me for further action. I, please, to arrange for the further action to be taken.
