The German Labour Front therefore does not participate in meetings which a Czech speaker leads. It also prohibits its members from taking part in consultations where Czech companies or workers are present. The autonomous administration is denied the power to decide on requests for wage increases by German followers. German entrepreneurs (in particular the armaments industry) and trustees also refuse to recognise the authority of the autonomous administration and to grant Czech officials the right to seek out their businesses and to issue orders on the company's social welfare arrangements.German followers often take the view that the declarations and wage regulations issued by the Czech government are not binding on them. This situation leads to the fact that the adoption of urgent wage statements often has to be overcharged and that a tight monitoring of wages according to the model of the old Reich cannot be carried out. Since the interests of German entrepreneurs and workers are affected in almost all sectors of the economy, the autonomous administration is, on the other hand, not able to prepare business-oriented and usable statements without the involvement of German experts. It is therefore considered necessary by the NSDAP to carry out special consultations with Germans, who are usually heard in so-called supervisory working committees of the party association silence.
