-8 — L3V Switzerland has developed and the world is constantly being told by the Czech side that we have received more than we would have been able to do. What immeasurable, economic damage to Sudeten Germanism from all these conditions since the end of the war can not even be estimated, it must be pointed out in this respect that statistical material which will be available in the responsible Sudete German authorities. We have fully complied with our tax obligations since the Republic's existence, and there has been evidence of a time when the Germans, about 30% of the population, paid over 60% of the taxes until they were gradually reduced to the current economic low, where this performance is simply no longer possible. All this is only a fleeting summary of the path of suffering that our Sudeten Germanism has been forced to go through in the past 20 years. All complaints and inter-pellations have not been taken into account, they have been almost ignored. Undoubtedly in the belief on the Cherisher side that, through all the constant attacks on our national and economic life, we would gradually suffer from state power and all its factors, and succumb to it in shorter or longer periods. If our accusations were too loud or unpleasant, then in the main it would have been necessary to alternate 3 replies: l./ The Germans here would have more than they would have paid for, 2./ The German would have 3 ministers in the government, who would not allow any injustice against their own ethnic group, or 3./ Germans would have to prove their loyalty to the ČSR only before one could go into their wishes.As far as this last demand of the Czechs is concerned, it must also be explicitly stated here: We believe that we have shown sufficient loyalty by universal compliance with the laws, by fulfilling our tax obligations and by calm and discipline, despite all measures taken against us.
