18 - 2 - Publications are determined by the publishing house, but it will take into account the wishes of the company. § 3 The publishing house will communicate the production costs of each individual publication to the company after a calculation has been made. The amount of production, which consists of the costs of printing, paper, cover, fees and a 20% publishing fee, is borne by the company. At the end of each financial year, the publisher will submit a statement of the company's publications published in the current business year, in which each publisher's object will be treated separately. Any net profits generated by the sale will be divided equally between the company and the publisher. In the case of net profit, which the company holds, a special account will be established which will be used to cover the production costs of further publications. § 4 The publisher is obliged to distribute the publications of the company in a commercial manner. In particular, it must notify the publications in the Börsenblatt for the German book trade and make them available to the press for discussion copies. The company receives a number of copies required by it at the production costs plus the publisher's surcharge of 20 percent. These pieces may not be sold. § 5 The contract runs until 3l.XII.l942 and is then published annually. Thus, for the first time on 1st I.L943 on 3l December 1943. The costs of this contract are borne by the publisher. Should a provision of the contract prove to be necessary for amendment, an amendment is possible at any time by mutual agreement.
