48.ooo German officials were simply thrown onto the streets, the sudetenGerman exports throttled in unresponsible short-sightedness and the German industry paralyzed. For political reasons, over 4oo young Sudeten Germans were sentenced to nearly seven thousand years of dungeons, countless of them inhumanly tortured. Dozens of soldiers and prisoners murdered, but their order cynically referred to as "suicide". Over 3o.ooo impoverished and unemployed Sudeten Germans of all strata fled in 1919 - l937 from the Czech Choslovak "paradise" into voluntary death ....... The president of the Bohemian state representation, Kubista, summed up his outspoken opinion in the words: The German-Czech problem is solved the fastest by placing the Germans on the wall or by drowning in the Elbe and Moldova! Of course, after all, one was of course trying to speak of "correct relations with Germany" about the "harmony of the peoples" and the "equality of nations" in the state; yes, the great truth seeker and patent democrat Masaryk once spoke the golden words: "The program of our republic is humanity, because humanity is the moral basis of all politics."
