Franz Schmelzer,Dipl.-Ing. Karwin,0.S., 10.4.1943. Hoheneggerstr.432. To Mr. S t a t s s e k r e t a r e r 68 K. H. Fr an k, S. S. Obergruppenführer, Pr ag_IV. Dear Mr. St a t S s e r e k e r t e r ! In addition to my letter in December 1942 to the Secretary of State, concerning my use at the "mountain hut", it forces me today, as a result of the most extreme expansion of asocial conditions, which do not only concern my destruction of existence, to express one last heartfelt request: Let me somewhere as a simple but recognized day laborer a r b e t e n, but not a week longer under the local impossible conditions neccessarily vegetate. Even the fairest upbringing of the entire workers against indescribable war crimes, is categorically suppressed by superior partymen, even though an individual will receive the courage yet a spark of social rights somewhere. The impact of the impossible struggle of these few role models, now equipped with directors' titles and cross-wars (of which the two best are non-partisan comrades, a master of which at the age of 33 has only one year of operational practice, whose master was excluded from the movement a few months ago, since he has been swindled by his wife) is devastating to the vast majority of the actual workers. Here, words are no longer possible, there can only be an independent, undecided explanation on the spot and in place of a social justice desired by countless people. He i l-H i t e r !
