A b t e l u n g I Prague, 14 December 1944 I 2 b K. 7477 Inlstera 15 DEC 1944 To the head of the Minister's Office Dr. G i e s. Subject: Dr. Karl W i l d - Appeal to the Chief Assistant (Burger Master) and City Chamberlain of the City of Pilsen. Reference: Letter of 1 December 1944 - St. M. IV D - 211/44. 1 Annex. I cannot yet agree with the proposal of the Mayor of the City of Pilsen of 27.11.1944 to appoint his general representative Dr. Wild as the full-time first member (mayor) and city chamberlain. The appointment of the general representatives of the Lord Mayors to full-time assistants is only possible in the course of a later action, according to the instructions of the Minister of State. If an exception were to be allowed for Pilsen now, the other mayors would immediately apply for the appointment of their general representatives as full-time first members. Also, government commissioners called to the Wehrmacht would request their appointment as head of the community, which was only planned at the same time, already now. I would therefore ask you to ask the Mayor of the City of Pilsen to postpone his application to a later date. t . i n Liger. /92 7244 St.M. π2-211 /44
