Molleepoutezgra - L - 5 J./Schg. m 1.) V e r m er k Betr.i Poschenburg. On Saturday, 17.6.1944 I had a longer pronunciation with P.. I told him that in the last few days he had again shown a series of instincts and a lack of posture which forced me to speak in principle. He had formally said goodbye to Minister Moravec without contacting him with the lead section or with Sturmbannführer Wolf, obwchl he was aware that the SD deployment planned for him needed a few weeks to prepare. I would have thought first of all to report him for Hungary, but after a personal consultation with il-Sturmbannführer Schmidt on his last vacation in Prague should convince me that the conditions for a use there because of the finally security police note of the operation for him (P.) seem not suitable. I would therefore have planned to report him to Istria and for this purpose I had already had a preliminary telephone conversation with standartenflher Dr. Ehlich in RsHA. It was inexplicable to me, that is, what he (P.) was contemplating with his hasty approval. Furthermore, he would have put me in a completely crooked position with Minister Moravec. Moravec would have offered him - to this extent I would like to believe his approval - a farewell evening in the small circle in the press club. He would have invited me and I would have promised hut for this evening on 20.6.44, after he had described this as bigger on my general question about the group of participants. In the meantime, I should have noticed that the communication of my commitment to Minister Moravec had made a very strange impression; the minister had only planned one evening in the closest circle of his service. 1d-98a14g 491/44
