Mr K. stated that he had to deal with so many points that it was impossible for a manager to carry out such a measure. Nevertheless, Pleiger again accused the workers that many hours of work at the Witkowitzer Eisenwerk would be wasted on works which merely served the preservation of Jewish property, but not the German armaments industry. In particular, he cited as an example the construction of a gas machine that consumes hundreds of thousands of working hours, which were merely considered. Instead, it would have been absolutely necessary for a responsible manager to make every working hour of the plant of direct armor serviceable.
