In view of the expected result of a continuous review, it would be more appropriate to refrain from further surveys with regard to the conditions of war. In so far as circumstances arise in the person of one or the other legionary who makes the revocation of the determination of German nationality appear appropriate, these will undoubtedly come to the knowledge of the nationality authorities on the way through the party or the SD RF SS, so that the necessary measures can be taken immediately. Moreover, even after examination of the German nationality of the relevant protectorate staff, the fundamental question remains as to whether the one-time contribution should be granted to legionaries of German nationality. I would ask for a resolution as to whether the national surveys should be continued. In view of the lack of German forces and the particular work involved in the examination of the individual case, it is proposed to discontinue the surveys.
