English Translation
In the case of the transfer of a worker to a qualified occupation, vocational guidance must in principle be used. 4./ Labour counselling must be supplemented by advice from the employment offices of the enterprises. The task of these operational consultations is to deal with the resistance of individual enterprises in the local area, in particular certain group companies, against the recruitment of women in connection with the central associations of the economy. In order to facilitate the employment of the wives, it must also be the intention of the employment offices to exchange them from shift to shift or from one firm to another, in order to make it easier for them to continue their household and to use them as close as possible to their place of residence. First of all, the need for the introduction of half-day work has to be repeatedly stressed by the Employment Office during its visits to the workplace that the jobs must be adapted to the performance of women and that physical damage must be avoided. This task serves: 1./ the increased accident protection at the workplace, 2./ the establishment of a factory maintenance. To this end, first in the mining industry - z i a l e factory helpers for the family pre- and-care and in enterprises with predominantly women's work for the care of the workers have been hired. Their area of responsibility is discussed in my decree of 31 March 1943 - A I-5103. In addition, the need for training and continuing vocational training of female workers must be repeatedly stressed in the advisory services of the enterprises.
