52 it is also indispensable to recover the German blood present in these regions for Germanism even if the bearer of the blood is polonifed in his confession and in his language. It was precisely from these Germanic blood carriers that those leaderships grew up in the former Polish state, which in the first place went against their own German ethnicity, whether in delusion or in violent or unconscious ignorance of their blood-relatedness, into the sharpest position of struggle. It is therefore an absolute requirement of national politics to "crush" the annexed eastern regions and later also the general government after such Germanic blood carriers, in order to return this lost German blood to its own German people. It may be of secondary importance which measures must be taken against renegades. It is crucial that at least their children no longer fall prey to Polishism, but are reared in the midst of a German environment. However, a re-Germanization can by no means take place in the present Polish environment, but only in the Altreich or in the Ostmark. It is therefore mainly the following two reasons which make the recovery of this lost German blood an imperative commandment: 1. Prevention of a further increase to the Polish Jntellectuelle layer from Germanic, albeit polenifed clans, 2. Proliferation of the population growth desired by the German people and creation of non-biological forces for the German construction of agriculture and industry. This task of re-Germanization of lost German blood was first undertaken in the context of the evacuation of those Poles in the Warthegau, who had to make a Plaß for the purposes of the settlement of Balten and Wolhynia German Plaß. Jur implementation of the necessary measures are the following basic orders or measures. Orders issued: Order 17/II of the RF4ß, Reichskommissar für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums, dated 9 May 1940, Order of the RFßß, Imperial Commissioner for the Consolidation of German Folketings, to the higher 4- and police leaders as commissioner of the Reichs Kommissar of the 3. July 1940, order of the RFßß, Reichskommiffar for the consolidation of German peoples, to the higher - and police leaders as commissioner of the Reichscommissar of July 31, 1940, letter of theRFß, Imperial commissioner for the strengthening of German populace, to Mr Reichswirtschaftsminister of the 2nd Reich. October 1940, letter of the NFß, Reichskommissar für die Festigung deutschen Bolkstum, to the Reichsarbeitsminister of 9 November 1940. The above-mentioned orders, which represent an extract from the overall scope of the work that is being done here, have the following wording: The Neichsführer 4 Reichscommissar for the consolidation of Berlin, 9 May 1940. German Volkstums Ordnung 17/ll Ausleje There are many of the German ethnic groups of foreign (non-German) nationality in the annexed eastern regions as well as in the general government, who are eligible for a Germanization due to their capable Poles. I have therefore ordered that a selection of the most racially valuable Nordic families should be made according to certain guidelines and that they should be accommodated in farms in the Old Kingdom.
