The Main Trustee Office of East Germany issued the following order of confiscation of 1 December 1939: I. III. At the same time, the presiding administration of the confiscated objects is ordered and an officer of the President of the Research and Teaching Society »Das Ancestor erbe e. V.", Berlin-Dahlem, Pücklerstraße 16, empowers the Trustee General to appoint trustees and sub-authorities on his own initiative and to take all measures necessary to ensure and preserve the confiscated items. IV. Insofar as objects were confiscated by authorities and organs of the Reichsführer 2 and chiefs of the German police and the Reich Commissioner for the consolidation of German ethnicity before the decree of this seizure, these seizures are hereby confirmed. They are deemed to be in favor of the Deutsche Reich at the disposal of the Imperial Commissioner for strengthening German ethnicism.
