114a 212 - In agreement with Reichsführer 3, Reichskommissar für die Festigung des deutschen Volkstums, we ask you to instruct the designated departments to grant ongoing support in accordance with the following guidelines: 1. The beneficiaries receive their previous net receipts, which usually result from the postal order or payment card sections or from other care-free payment instructions, in monthly instalments in advance in Reichsmark. Thereby, references to the rate bon 0,8o RM ... . . . ... . = 1 ekr, Lat « « « » 0,60 » .............. = 1 a, Zloth « » « » ,0,50 » ................ = 1 SI. The amounts are to be rounded up to the full Reichmark. 2. The current subsidies are not subject to wage tax and citizens' tax and any military surcharges. 3. Payment is made on the basis of the pension or authorization orders to be submitted. In cases of doubt or in the absence of sufficient documents, affidavits may be required regarding the accuracy and completeness of the information. 4. Payment shall be made without recognition of a legal claim. It shall begin on the day of departure from the collective care. For the calculation of the portion of the benefit due to the rest of the month, each month shall be calculated by 30 days. Thus, the 31st of each month is excluded. In leap years, the 29th of February is counted twice, in the remaining years of February 28th three times. In the case of transfers in the public service, the payment of support must be discontinued. In view of the calculation of the part of the support allocated to the rest of the month, paragraph 4. 6. Changes in the marital status which, according to paragraph 7, would require a re-estimation of the pensions must be taken into account when paying support. For this reason, it is necessary to give up any change in their marital status. For the granting of child allowances (beginning and end, but not height) the German basic seats are to be applied. 7. In order to simplify the calculation of support payments as far as possible, we determine the following: (a) If a pensioner dies, his widow shall receive from the first of the month following the date of death a widow's allowance equal to 60 % of the previous husband's pension. If a widow dies, the widow's allowance shall expire on the first day of the month following the date of death; the same shall apply if the widow remarries. If a pensioner dies, orphan's pensions shall be paid to semi-orphans in the amount of 1/s of the widow's pension, to full orphans in that amount. However, widow' s pension and orphan''s allowance may not exceed the amount paid by the deceased official. (c) Special provisions are made by the High Command of the Wehrmacht (Reichsverforgung) for the calculation of the support payments for military pensioners. 8. The ongoing support is provided by benefits from the Umsiedler-Kreisfürsorgung. The providing services must inform the city and districts of the place of residence of the amount of the assistance paid.
