5 The following measures have been taken to implement the abovementioned relocation agreements:*) 1. South Tyrol For the uniform management and implementation of the resettlement work required in South Tyrol, in the autumn of 1939 the official German immigration and repatriation agencies (ADERSt.) with the main office in Bolzano and the branches in Bolzano, Merano, Brixen, Bruneck, Sterzing and Tarvis were established. Jhnen later joined the "Working Group of Optants" (AdO.), which performs mainly advisory and supervising functions. The head of the AdO is mainly responsible for the leadership of the South Tyrolean ethnic group. The intergovernmental association with the Italian departments of the territory of the Treaty is carried out by the Reich representative (German Consul General) in agreement with the head of the official German immigration and migration agencies. The Neich representative is also attached to the value-fixing commissions (German side). The Reichsführer 4, the Reichskommissar für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums, the Gauleiter von Tirol-Vorarlberg, the Reich Carinthia, Styria, Oberdonau and Salzburg, who have set up special services for this purpose, were commissioned as sponsors for the reception of the South Tyrolean settlers in the Reich. These services work according to the guidelines of the Reichsführer 43, Reichskommissar für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums. Predominantly in the mentioned East-Märkischen Gaue, the South Tyroleans are first surrounded, division of which are not bound and dependent (by October 1940 about 56 000 South Tyrolean South Tyrolean were taken into the Neich). For the settlement of South Tyroleans (especially farmers) several hundred South Tyrolean farmers are planned for the Gau Tirol-Vorarlberg and for the gau Carinthia the inhabitants of the Kanaltal and the Val Gardena. For the other part of the South Tyrolean ethnic group a closed settlement area is envisaged. As the end date for the conversion of the Südtirolian is planned according to the German-Italian agreements of 31 December 1942. *) The following provisions refer to the subject areas of human eating.
