Authorization to conduct those Italian degrees corresponding to the degrees awarded by German faculties of philosophy is granted on the basis of individual requests from the Bolks Germans, on the condition that the Italian degree is accompanied by a designation of origin, e.g. Doctor of Literature (Bologna). The same applies to the doctoral degrees awarded by an Italian university after completion of the legal, state and economic studies. For the management of the medical doftor degree, the approval is in advance in Germany. Laurea after the completion of scientific studies can be held as a doctorate with a designation of origin. In order to guarantee the South Tyrolean ethnic group the sufficient number of qualified specialists during their settlement in the closed settlement area, corresponding agreements were reached with the academic Reichsministerium für Wissenschaft, Erziehung und Volksbildung and the Reichsstudentenwerk. The certificates referred to in points 1 and 2 shall, upon application, be issued with the certificate of recognition of a German higher school.
