On this occasion also those farms which are intended for young farmers from Oberdonau and the Sudeten- land are sought out. This can be done as so-called directional farmers later among the settlers. Of the approximately 150 South Tyrolean families, about 110 have to be placed on viable farms, while the rest are mainly agricultural and rural industrial workers, who only apply for farms up to a size of 4 hectares, in order to be able to continue their learned profession as masons, stone sloggers and the like. The establishment of these working families is very much welcomed in this area, since qualified craftsmen are extremely scarce there. The establishment of the individual families is not to be carried out in accordance with the financial conditions, but primarily according to the personal abilities of the various families under the most precise examination of the pamilial conditions. Depending on the number of farms released from the main camp in Hallein near Salzburg, the South Tyrolean families will always be transported to the relocation camp "Huma- renschlößchen" near Porschitsch, Bez. Budweis, made for the passing stay, then they are distributed in as short a time as possible on the free farms. These families usually carry only a very poor-souly household, so that extensive measures had to be taken by the exponents of the ground office for the procurement of furniture and housing facilities, dishes, pots, porcelain of all kinds, beds, curtains and even garments, which was also made possible with the help of the competent authorities from the Jewish authorities. OMS So far, about 40 German families have been accommodated in the enterprises freed by ITschechen, namely in the municipalities of Krassetin, Hollubau, Schabrowes, Branischau, Berlau, Duben, Stupna, Kwitkowitz, Jankau, Groß- und Klein-Chekau. The acquittal of the farms is now rapidly moving forward, so that it is hoped that by the end of the year all 150 families will be accommodated.
